To our wonderful participants, volunteers, and Supporters,
This coming January, Senior Planet from AARP at Avenidas will begin transitioning the Senior Planet program operated at 450 Bryant Street in downtown Palo Alto into a licensed partner site.
What does that mean for you? Senior Planet classes will continue to be offered at Avenidas, but the way you receive information about upcoming classes will change. In the coming weeks and months, we will share information with you about these changes, but in-person classes will eventually be posted only on Avenidas’ website: www.avenidas.org.
We offer the licensing program to community-based organizations across the country completely free of charge. The program allows these partners to offer Senior Planet classes to local participants, without us being on-site to deliver them. Avenidas staff and volunteers will become licensed trainers to deliver the Senior Planet classes you know and love.
We are here to answer any questions that you have about this change, and we thank you for your ongoing support!

 As the quarter comes to a close, you might notice a few less classes than usual on the calendar. If you're looking to stay plugged in during the holiday break, head over to the Senior Planet YouTube channel!
Here you'll find an array of free videos that you can watch at any time. Discover “Tech Tips” like how to customize your phone screen, or watch full fitness classes led by your favorite trainers like Cas and Sally.
