Hi everyone, I hope you've all had a great week!
Having home internet can help you save money, look for a job, connect with others, make everyday tasks easier, and much more! Senior Planet in New York City will be hosting an in-person class called “Affordable Home Internet” on Wednesday, January 25 at 3:00pm EST.
This lecture goes over basic information you need to know when signing up for home internet service. You’ll also learn about the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a permanent, government program that helps qualifying low-income households pay for internet service and connected devices. In some cases, depending on your internet plan, the ACP discount may help you get home internet for free!

Take a Virtual Tour of Banff National Park in Canada!
|
 This quarter, Senior Planet and Discover Live will be taking you on even more virtual live tours through three magnificent destinations. This week, we'll be making our first stop:
Banff National Park, Canada
Join us on Friday, January 27 at 1:30pm EST to discover Canada's first and most famous National Park. On this one hour personal, live, interactive, virtual walking tour, we will explore wilder areas (where there is good reception) to show you the incredible wilderness. Banff encompasses 6,641 square kilometers (over 4,100 square miles) of mountainous terrain, with many glaciers and icefields, dense coniferous forest, and alpine landscapes. Banff has over 994 miles of beautiful walking trails — let's explore some of them!
