| Hi everyone!
Senior Planet in NYC is very excited to be hosting a special event called “The Best Day Ever” on April 14 from 10:00am – 4:00pm EDT!
This event is a chance to hear from participants and supporters about what your best day ever looks like, and how Senior Planet can play a part in making it happen. This is also an opportunity for you to share your feedback on what types of programs you want to see more of at our center!
Refreshments will be served, and Senior Planet swag will be given out, while supplies last. We look forward to seeing you there!

Celebrate 10 Years of the Senior Planet Center in NYC!
|
Since opening its doors on March 7, 2013, the Senior Planet center in New York City has changed the lives of tens of thousands of older adults. This would not have been possible without the support of all our participants, funders, collaborators, and team members throughout the years.
To celebrate this momentous milestone, we invite you to our 10 Year Celebration on Friday, April 21 from 12:00pm – 3:00pm EDT!
Join us as we highlight the achievements of our participants, hear from our Executive Director, Tom Kamber, and enjoy light refreshments.

Senior Planet in NYC is hosting the “Tech Tank” — an informational session where we'll introduce new technology to participating older adults at the Senior Planet center – 127 West 25th St.
Please join us this week to discover smart TVs and streaming video apps! A Senior Planet Trainer will be conducting a step-by-step walkthrough using one of these exciting devices. Walk-ins welcome! |

 Senior Planet is offering virtual, 1-on-1 tech tutoring sessions! Volunteers from Verizon will join via Zoom to individually help you with any technology-related questions you might have. You do NOT need to own a Verizon device to take advantage of this free opportunity!

| Augmented Reality vs. Virtual Reality
 Have you heard of infographics? They're visual images such as a charts or diagrams, used to represent information or data. You might come across infographics while reading an article online, or in a magazine.
The education team at Senior Planet has created a new infographic all about the differences between two exciting technologies with similar names: Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).
