Congratulations!

Join us in congratulating AARP Colorado State Director, Bob Murphy (far left), and Associate State Director, Roberto Rey (far right), on their retirement!

It has been wonderful getting to know and work with Bob and Roberto over the past two years.

The Senior Planet team in Colorado is honored to have been able to celebrate their accomplishments together at the “Celebration of Service” earlier this month.

We wish them all the best in the future!

Senior Planet @ CES 2023

Experience the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) LIVE from Las Vegas for two unique events on Thursday, January 5 at 1:00pm MST, and Friday, January 6 at 2:30pm MST!

CES is the largest technology show in the world. It’s held annually in Las Vegas with an expected 189,000 attendees. The show covers the latest tech in smart homes, TVs, automobiles, PCs/laptops, phones, appliances, audio, and more. Reporters, journalists, tech industry professionals, celebrity endorsers, celebrity show performers and everyone else in attendance fill the Las Vegas Convention Center for this four-day event.

For the first time, Discover Live, a pioneer and established authority in live, virtual world travel, will be there to take you on a live, private tour of the event. You will experience 2 exciting events live from the show floor. There will also be a few Las Vegas surprises along the way!

  • On Thursday, January 5, we will be taking you on the Discover Live @ CES 2023 – Virtual Tour, where you will view product demonstrations from Age Tech companies bringing new innovation to older adults.

  • On Friday, January 6, we will hold the Discover Live @ CES 2023 – Q&A with Tom Kamber. You will hear from special guests, as we interview them about the outstanding products and innovation they have seen at the show. This event will be interactive, so you can ask questions, engage in a live Q&A session, and truly be a part of the experience.

We can’t wait to see you all from Las Vegas!

Lives Well Lived Project

Senior Planet participants and students from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo will be matched to collaborate in a three-part series. During these meetings, the students and Senior Planet participants will interview each other, using the same interview questions used in Lives Well Lived, as well as any other questions the pairs want to use. The interviews will be recorded, so students can turn these sessions into a “Life Memoir” that will be given to Senior Planet participants at the end of the project.

In our first session on 1/18/23 from 3:15pm – 4:45pm MST, you will have an opportunity to ask Sky Bergman questions about her film before beginning this project.
