Dear yos,
2022 was a banner year for Senior Planet and Older Adults Technology Services (OATS) from AARP. Some of the exciting highlights from this past year include:
- Reaching New Heights: Older adults participated in Senior Planet programs over 350,000 times this year – exceeding our previous record!
- Expanding In-Person Presence: In addition to re-opening our centers and returning to partner sites, the Senior Planet Licensing Program grew from the original seven pilot partners to over 150 partner organizations in 25 states!
- Strengthening Community: We published trailblazing research on how technology can support the fight against loneliness – and every day in Senior Planet classes we made new friends and learned from one another. As Deborah in Georgia put it, “Senior Planet is like a lifeline, like blood going through your veins right into your heart.”
Now, we are asking for your help to expand our impact even further in 2023.
