We are now accepting nominations for the 2023 Small Business of the Year Awards. We have five categories – For-Profit, Nonprofit, Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned and Veteran-Owned. Volunteers Sought to Serve On City Of Arlington Boards and Commissions
|
The City is accepting applications for its boards and commissions through May 15. The City Council will be reviewing the applications in the coming months to fill annual vacancies on a host of committees including the Unity Council, Planning & Zoning, Parks and Recreation Board, Citizens Environmental Committee, Animal Services Center Board, Library Advisory Board and many more.

In partnership with the AISD and the Dan Dipert Career+Technical Center, the Student Practicum Program enables you to take on a practicum student to intern at your business, learn your trade and develop new skills. Last year, we placed 186 students in various career pathways in more than 50 businesses in the Arlington community. Help cultivate Arlington’s future by participating in this workforce development program today.
