Dear Friends of Greentown Labs,
The deadline to apply to #GoEnergize2023 has been extended to April 11!
Created with the goal of fostering the responsible development of offshore wind projects in the U.S., Greentown Go Energize 2023, with Vineyard Wind and supported by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, is seeking submissions from startups that are developing innovative solutions for offshore turbine monitoring and ecological data collection, as well as digital solutions to improve turbine efficiency and longevity.
Vineyard Wind is developing the first utility-scale offshore wind farm in the United States, which will eliminate 1.68 million metric tons of carbon-dioxide emissions per year—the equivalent of taking 325,000 cars off the road annually. Given the offshore wind industry’s complexity, it can be uniquely challenging for startups to enter this space. Go Energize 2023 aims to reduce these barriers to entry through industry education, knowledge sharing, and relationship-building across relevant industry networks.
Know of a startup or research group that could benefit from structured and curated exposure to key players in the offshore wind industry, in addition to desk space and membership at Greentown Labs and a $70,000 non-dilutive stipend? Tell them to apply by April 11 and help spread the word to others in your network! Read the full RFP and check out our recent informational webinar for more info.
