| Special Event: The Best Day Ever |

Hi everyone, I hope you've all had a great weekend so far!
Senior Planet in the North Country is very excited to be hosting a special event called “The Best Day Ever” on Friday, April 14 from 10:00am – 4:00pm EDT!
This event is a chance to hear from participants and supporters about what your best day ever looks like, and how Senior Planet can play a part in making it happen. This is also an opportunity for you to share your feedback on what types of programs you want to see more of at our center!
Refreshments will be served, and Senior Planet swag will be given out, while supplies last. We look forward to seeing you there!

Tech Tank: Voice Assistants with
the Amazon Echo Show 8

The Tech Tank is Senior Planet’s latest program which puts YOU in the driver’s seat to road test and experience innovative technologies!
Join our 30-minute, trainer-guided demonstrations this week, and learn all about the Amazon Echo Show 8: a voice assistant with Alexa technology and a touch screen.
What Participants are saying…. “The program offers a much-needed space for older adults like me who are eager to get up to speed on new technology in today’s evolving digital landscape. I encourage all older adults to get out there and try it out!”

 Senior Planet is offering virtual, 1-on-1 tech tutoring sessions! Volunteers from Verizon will join via Zoom to individually help you with any technology-related questions you might have. You do NOT need to own a Verizon device to take advantage of this free opportunity!

| Augmented Reality vs. Virtual Reality
 Have you heard of infographics? They're visual images such as a charts or diagrams, used to represent information or data. You might come across infographics while reading an article online, or in a magazine.
The education team at Senior Planet has created a new infographic all about the differences between two exciting technologies with similar names: Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).
