This lecture introduces Meetup, a popular online platform for finding social groups and events all over the world. Meetup allows users to meet new people, share hobbies, and pursue their passions together in-person, and virtually. In this lecture, you'll also learn about finding and starting groups on the platform.

Let's Walk, NYC!

Tuesday, 6/6 @ 10:15am EDT

Join us for a group walk around the neighborhood! We’ll meet at the Senior Planet center in Chelsea, and then head over to Madison Square Park. After a “stroll with Stella” along the park’s walking paths, we’ll make our way back to the center.

Registration is required, and space is limited. All participants will be able to borrow a Fitbit device to wear during our walk. While wearing the Fitbit, you can track your total distance traveled, count your steps, and even measure your heart rate.

Please bring your own water bottle, and a pair of comfortable shoes.

Friday Tech Exhibition

Friday, 6/9 @ 11:00am – 4:15pm EDT

Join us at the center for an open exploration with the latest devices and innovations in tech! Stop by for one session or all four!
