Congrats to the Doris Griffin Senior Center Graduates!

Greetings!
Congratulations, Doris Griffin Senior Center!!! Senior Planet trainers Edward Cuevas and Pat Jasso successfully led their iPad Essentials students through 12 hours of instruction on iPads in both English and Spanish. Great job, Edward, Pat and all the graduates!
While this course has now ended, additional training opportunities are being offered at the Griffin Center. Please consult the center website for dates and times of upcoming Senior Planet classes.
To attend classes at the City of San Antonio Senior Centers, participants must be age 60+. Please visit your local COSA Senior Center to learn more.

| Join a New Kind of Senior Council |
 The Humana Foundation is actively recruiting members of a new Senior Council, which will serve as a focus group and advisory board for the Foundation’s efforts to support seniors, veterans and youth in living connected, healthy lives.
This voluntary group of 8-10 established and emerging community leaders – both seniors 65+ and juniors/seniors in high school – will have input in creating unique experiences that bring the Foundation’s health equity mission to life.

| Augmented Reality vs. Virtual Reality
 Have you heard of infographics? They're visual images such as a charts or diagrams, used to represent information or data. You might come across infographics while reading an article online, or in a magazine.
The education team at Senior Planet has created a new infographic all about the differences between two exciting technologies with similar names: Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).
